fabricator of precision metal products. RACSA Wren is a joint venture
between RACSA Company in Mexico City, Mexico, established in 1970, and Wren
Industries.

Sinuous Wires or Springs Manufacturing
RACSA Wren manufactures sinuous wires or springs to
your specifications. Sinuous springs are made from two-dimensional S-shaped
wires and are also known as "No-Sag springs," "S coils," "Zigzag
(zig zag) wire" or "zigzag (zig zag) springs".
They are commonly
used in ottomans, chairs (seat and back) and sofas (seat and back) and take
the place of coil springs. Sinuous springs install quickly and easily and don't
require a time-consuming hand-tie job. They are fastened with clips and no-sag
nails, and they run every few inches apart from front-to-back or top-to-bottom
on seats, backs, ottoman, etc.
Compression Springs Manufacturing
RACSA Wren manufactures compression springs to your specifications:
- Round, square, rectangular or trapezoidal
- Straight compression,
conical, open end, closed end, multi-diameter, multi-pitch, solid
wound blanks
High Tolerance Parts? Using in-line sensors and sorting devices,
RACSA Wren is capable of producing high-tolerance parts.
Complex Parts? Using in-line set removal and
electronic gauging, RACSA Wren is capable of restricting and separating
inherent, abnormal variation.
Need End Grinding? Using part-specific tooling,
your part is custom built to control the process. Horizontal and
vertical spindle grinders with custom control features and automation
enable us to match the appropriate process to your part for optimum
efficiency.
Extension Springs Manufacturing
RACSA Wren manufactures extension springs to your specifications using
CNC programmable equipment equipped with automated transfer stations.
Machine hook capabilities include:
- Standard machine hooks, crossover center, side, extended, and
special hook configurations
Critical Loop Location Requirements? Using automated probe and
sensing devices, RACSA Wren controls your part's critical loop
location requirements.
Space Constraints or Weight Restrictions? RACSA Wren assists
in the design and development of linkages that can be utilized to divert
known obstacles.
Torsion Springs Manufacturing
RACSA Wren manufactures torsion springs to your specifications using
CNC programmable equipment equipped with automated transfer stations.
Complex Torsion Design? RACSA Wren can produce complex torsion
designs without the need for costly secondary operations:
- Torsion Springs: From round, square or rectangular wire
- Spiral Springs: From strip steel, plus round, square or
rectangular wire
In some cases, our tool design and development department has been
successful in customizing specialty equipment for products that
do not lend themselves to traditional manufacturing methods.
Wire Forms Manufacturing
RACSA Wren manufactures complex wire forms to your specifications using
CNC programmable equipment and robotic forming equipment. The diversity
of this technology enables us to perform a multitude of secondary
operations that would typically be completed as separate functions.
Typical Applications. Wire form technology evolved from the automotive
seat industry. The equipment is flexible and can be used to bend,
punch, or stamp where appropriate.
High Volume Applications? RACSA Wren utilizes high-speed
bending equipment that is extremely precise and versatile. This
eliminates the need for dedicated tooling -- saving you money by
lowering the per piece price.
Stampings for Repair & Maintenance of Parts
Need a Part Reverse Engineered for Repair or Maintenance? Our
experienced and fully-equipped tool and die department is capable
of providing design and build support to produce a functional end
part.
We start by taking your 3D model and integrating the design to a fully
dimensioned blueprint for manufacturing. Our customers love this capability
to provide maintenance support -- promptly and free of errors.
Comprehensive Inventory. With all of our dies, we maintain a comprehensive
inventory of various details to support production requirements.
Assembly / Test / Storage
Manual or automated assembly or a combination of both,
RACSA Wren can assemble your item regardless of complexity or volume.
Storage of Components. Depending upon your needs, RACSA Wren can
purchase and store related assembly components or receive them
as consignment inventory.
